Abstract

Kemampuan menganalisis konsep STEAM sangat penting dimiliki oleh mahasiswa calon guru sebagai bekal dalam merancang pembelajaran STEAM yang tepat untuk PAUD. Namun, proses pembinaan pengetahuan teoritis dan kemampuan pedagogis mahasiswa tentang STEAM saat ini terkendala akibat keterbatasan waktu tatap muka perkuliahan pada situasi pandemik. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, maka dilakukan penerapan strategi peer teaching bichronous online learning. Perkuliahan dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dengan melibatkan 60 mahasiswa calon guru PAUD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test post-test. Kemampuan menganalisis mahasiswa pada konsep STEAM dijaring dengan menggunakan instrument tes berisi soal essay. Data dianalisis dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata, uji N-gain dan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan antara pere-tes dan postes, peningkatan nilai rata-rata tersebut berada pada peningkatan level sedang (N-gain=0,31) dan diperoleh nilai Sig (2-tailed) dari hasil uji statistic sebesar 0,000 < 0,005 yang menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan analisis sebelum dengan setelah perkuliahan peer teaching bichronous online learning
