Analisis Faktor Maternal yang Mempengaruhi Perkembangan Anak

UNICEF (2019) mencatat bahwa 27,5% atau sekitar 3 juta balita mengalami gangguan perkembangan motorik, dan masalah-masalah seperti perilaku, autisme, hiperaktif, dan keterlambatan perkembangan semakin meningkat di Indonesia. Faktor maternal memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Karakteristik ibu, seperti usia, tingkat pendidikan, status pekerjaan, pendapatan, dan pola asuh, terbukti berhubungan erat dengan stimulasi yang diberikan pada anak. Tujuan: untuk menganalisa faktor maternal yang mempengaruhi perkembangan anak usia dini. Metode: menggunakan penelitian analitik dengan rancangan crossectional, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 106 ibu secara konsekutif sampling di KB Harapan Bangsa Pandak dan TK Masyithoh Kauman. Hasil: Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor dari ibu dengan hasil karakteristik usia, mayoritas berusia 25-35 tahun (45,28%), sebagian besar ibu bekerja dengan rata-rata pendidikan terakhir pada kelompok SMP, 63,21% ibu memiliki penghasilan sesuai dengan UMR, lebih dari 50% ibu memperoleh informasi dari media sosial dengan pengasuhan anak mandiri dan lebih dari 60% perkembangan anak dalam kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini tidak menemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor maternal dengan perkembangan anak usia dini.
