Updated Article Template and Declaration Requirements (2026)

15-10-2026

Aulad: Journal on Early Childhood has updated its article template to comply with the 2026 journal accreditation guidelines issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

Effective [date, e.g. 1 November 2026], all submitted and accepted manuscripts must use the new template. The main changes are:

- A complete article information box on the first page, including the article history (received, revised, accepted, and published dates), keywords, a suggested citation, and the CC BY-SA 4.0 license statement.
- ORCID iDs for all authors.
- A Declarations section containing Author Contributions (CRediT taxonomy), Declaration of Generative AI Use, Conflict of Interest, Funding, Ethical Approval and Informed Consent, and Data Availability.
- An English abstract of 150–250 words for all articles, including those written in Indonesian.
- References in APA 7th edition style, with a DOI for every reference that has one.

Authors whose manuscripts are already in the editorial process will be contacted individually through the journal system with instructions for updating their manuscripts.

The new template can be downloaded here: [link to template]. Please also read our Author Guidelines (https://aulad.org/index.php/aulad/about/submissions#authorGuidelines) and Generative AI Policy (https://aulad.org/index.php/aulad/ai-policy) before submitting.
