Plagiarism Policy

Aulad: Journal on Early Childhood does not tolerate plagiarism in any form, including verbatim copying, paraphrasing without citation, duplicate/redundant publication, and self-plagiarism (text recycling) without disclosure.

Screening

All submitted manuscripts are checked with Turnitin before peer review and again before publication. Manuscripts with an overall similarity index above 30%, or more than 3% from a single source (excluding references), are returned to the authors or rejected. The Editor examines the report qualitatively; a numerical score alone is not the basis of a decision.

Handling

  • Before publication: minor overlap → returned for revision; substantial plagiarism → rejected and the authors' institution may be notified.
  • After publication: handled according to COPE flowcharts and may result in a correction or retraction (see Corrections and Retractions).

Use of generative AI

Authors must disclose the use of generative AI tools in the Methods or Acknowledgements section. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and originality of the content.
